Mengdian Xing

Hey there!  My Chinese name is Mengdian, and you can call me Megan.  My Chinese Zodiac is Tiger!

I first started crafting when I was five years old.  I was very interested in painting as a child, and my mom sent me to an art school.  I remembered that I had a wonderful time in that school, and I learned a lot from my first art teacher.  I continued to study art in high school.  I am currently attending university, majoring in product design.

I used to teach art in China. I love making art and I enjoy working with children and teenagers.  I would like people to know more about Chinese culture, and have a lot of fun with it. I love painting and I think making art is a way to bring happiness into your life.  I love to work with Chinese brushes, rice paper, and Chinese black ink.

My favorite thing about living in China is that Chinese food is so delicious. Like dumplings, Beijing roast duck, tofu, and baozi are my favorite Chinese food.
